Q: WHAT DO I DO WITH MY STICKER?
A: You can use your downloaded sticker on your own website
as a link to the websites of your friends. If you have an online
journal, as I do, build up a database of people that you mention
in your site.
Q: I DON'T HAVE MY OWN WEBSITE, CAN I STILL HAVE A STICKERSHEET?
A: Sure. Unless it gets out of hand (unlikely) I will create
a stickersheet for you and send you the URL to share with your
friends. Of course I'll only post photos in good taste, but
that term can be loosly translated. :)
Q: WHY STICKERS? NOTHING STICKS ON THE INTERNET?
A: First and foremost because it's fun, secondly because
in my graduate school I am ever being stretched in the direction
of old technology and new. Even the HTML that I don't-code-so-well-in
is old technology, but each of us use it in new ways each and
every day. Besides, the concept of stickers being "removed"
and forever "lost" is cool, isn't it?
Q: HOW DO I MAKE MY OWN STICKERS?
A: Download the photoshop
file in which the layers are labeled according to their purpose.
Export as a .jpg and then you've got your own sticker. If you
want to slant them or something, simply import the .jpg back
into Photoshop and place it wherever you'd like.
Q: I'D WANT TO PUT A BANNER ON MY WEBSITE, WHERE DO I
LINK IT?
A: First of all, if you really want to put up a banner,
tell me about it! How cool! As of right now, make it link to
http://www.andreawilkinson.com/stickersheet/ if that changes,
I'll let you know!
