Soap Box

25.08.06 |

Concept:
Soap box – a makeshift stand used by a public speaker, an opportunity to air someone’s views publicly.

These prints reflect the first two instalments of an ongoing series investigating images used to sell; portraits of generalised families and couples placed on products. It is only when commercial imagery begins to reflect diversity that the general public will find non-traditional families a reflection of the modern family and their own.
These prints have been shown in a variety of locations in both Belgium and New Zealand.
