I was invited to take part in the first Pecha Kucha night in Hasselt, as part of a Maastricht’s touring Pecha Kucha nights. As a means of introducing myself to the wider community, I showcased narrative-centric projects that I have done over the last decade and attempted to give a sampling of the diverse range of media and stories that I work within and tell.

A print-trained graphic designer from a small Midwestern American town, for the past 6 years I worked as Senior Lecturer in Design at the Mediarts Wintec in Hamilton, NZ at the Waikato Institute of Technology. As of February this year, my partner and I have moved back to Belgium, where I have taken on a position at the Media & Design Academy in Genk, Belgium. The continued theme most often at work in my own projects is ‘text’. I'm currently exploring how text can operate as both vehicle and visual and how it can perpetuate or offer suggestions of meaning.
