A print-trained graphic designer from a small Midwestern American town, for the past 6 years I worked as Senior Lecturer in Design at the Mediarts Wintec in Hamilton, NZ at the Waikato Institute of Technology. As of February this year, my partner and I have moved back to Belgium, where I have taken on a position at the Media & Design Academy in Genk, Belgium. The continued theme most often at work in my own projects is ‘text’. I'm currently exploring how text can operate as both vehicle and visual and how it can perpetuate or offer suggestions of meaning.

How come I have thousands of fonts by all of them are ugly? I reckon I could get by on 10 good fonts a year (provided I also have my wacom!)-- Saturday 5th of May, 2012
